“Up In Smoke”

Tired of the ignorance,

Presented as deliverance.

Delivered distractions from descendants,

Have quaked my dreams.

The ripple makes awake,

The face of a book hysteric with hate.

Tired of the ignorance,

Called Intelligence.

When everyone’s an expert,

Knowledge is put on the back burner,

Understanding goes up in smoke.

Compassion suffocates,

Fear combusts,

And we are engulfed by it all.

I scream in my dream to wake up my Zion,

Refusing to get high off idiocratic opinion.

I inhale my truth,

exhaling a smoke filled message.
