“My Imagined Nation”

Imagine (2)

My Imagined Nation
Is nothing like your television station.

News anchors report,
The glorification of our demise
Yet my eyes have seen the coming
of what is truly lethal,
Within the sheep we call people.
Opinions become fact,
We live in the abstract,
And no longer comprehend the meaning of equal.

A Tele Vision Quest begins
With a  single step toward the concrete.
A desire to plug in,
Instead of vegging out on repeats.

Look and See my innocence.
My Imagined Nation.
It will never be like your television station,
Because I refuse to watch old  episodes of Dissonance.
